Fruit in Every Season

Psalm 1:2 "But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit in each season."

"In every season" this small phrase speaks to me specifically.

When it's winter time in our souls or it seems dark, cold, and lifeless outside, even then we can bear the fruits.

In the fall, when every leaf is falling down. Everything in our life seems crashing and changing right in front of us, even then we can bear fruit.

In the summer, when the heat feels good but a little strong. In the spring, when revival bursts within us, new truths and new healing.

In every season, we can bear fruits. But this is not possible on our own, but only through being rooted and grounded in God's love and His identity as His children.

So the question to ask yourself today is, are you rooted in Christ? Is your foundation in who you are in Him strong? Are you grounded in His love for you? Do you meditate day and night on his word?

For friends, the storms of life, they come. They shake us. The seasons of life, bring change, some seasons bring comfort while others bring pain. Celebration and sorrow sometimes co exist. But friends, if we know Christ, we can stay strong and keep bearing fruit. He will grow the fruit in our lives, we just have to stay connected.
