Trust In Me

Brooke (insert your name here) , trust in me. Let me lead your life.

Trust in me, not just when things are easy and the path looks fun to travel. Trust in me, not just in the times I've poured out my blessings on you or you can see your dreams becoming reality.. trust me not just in the good times.

But trust me in deep waters.

Trust in me, even when it does not make sense. Trust in me, through the most difficult of difficulties, through the questions you will never understand, through the tears and pain of life and death even. Choose to trust in me despite whatever difficult circumstances you may face around you.

Philippians 4:4 "Trust in the Lord always and again I say rejoice... and the peace of God which passes all understanding will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. (vs 8).

Friends, I don't know where you are in this crisis the world is calling Pandemic COVID- 19. I don't know if you are at home isolated and feeling worthless, or maybe you have a family that you are struggling to support financially and bring food to the table, or maybe you are a healthcare worker on the front lines of the ER or the ICU seeing the pain and suffering brought on and experiencing it far too real and wondering is this really what God wants me to be doing right now?

Friends, I don't know how you feel and the very-real battles you may feel like you are fighting alone. But I want to share with you this , that Jesus knows. That Jesus sees you. I hope you know the friend and comforter named Jesus- the representative of sacrifice. God sent his son down so that we could learn to know Him, to behold His character of love and to see his willingness to suffer along side of us. He was willing to suffer innocently so that He could save His beloved in the world. And no matter what we are going through during this time, if you know Jesus, you can find comfort in your Father.

2 Corinthians 1:4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."

And I just want to encourage you that God is going to be faithful to you. That if He's started a work in your life that is good, He will keep working in you. Philippians 1:6. That nothing you can do, or nothing you have ever done can separate you from the love Jesus Christ has for you. Romans 8:39. God is good and even in the hard times, God promises to carry us through. I have seen this in my own life, and I promise God will be faithful to you as well if you trust in Him.
